Personality:

Tough and very street wise, Terrik (he prefers Kaine) is the poster child for rugged, reckless, and sexy. Having a somewhat zealous nature, this former cop is brash, offensive and at times a little twisted. Though he does like to have a good time, Kaine is very tight-lipped about himself, and can sometimes be unreachable. Occasionally he slips into dismal funks where he is aloof and cruel to those around him, although those are few and far between.

Appearance:

Kaine is a mixed breed and though there is not too much of the raptrin look to him, it is visible in the razor-like slant of his hazel eyes, his nut-brown coloring, and the cunning hardness of his over all appearance.

Kaine’s hair is always tousled and spiked as though he has just gotten out of bed. His hair color is a deep black at the roots, slowly bleeding to a vibrant blue on the tips. Kaine stands six foot four and his body is very muscled and athletic.

Your typical Harley loving, biker buy, Kaine is never seen without his leather jacket, jeans and gun.

History:

Born into a religious cult (The Guardians of the Prophecy), Kaine was the product of an incestuous relationship between his father, and cult leader (Rytan), and his aunt. Due to the fact that he was born on the anniversary of Drake DuCaine’s death, Kaine was dubbed the next messiah, and worshipped by all of the cult members.

During his time with The Guardians, Kaine was ‘trained’ everyday on how to grow into his lot in life as the new messiah. Part of that training included pain tolerance, and he was beaten, flogged and whipped daily leaving half of his body covered with dark scars that would plague him for the rest of his life.

Kaine stayed with the cult until the age of fifteen, when it was a raided by the DuCaine City PD, and he was placed in an orphanage. Though it was a long hard road, Kaine managed to begin to lead a normal life, and when he was twenty, graduated from the police academy with honors. He went on to become a lead detective in the homicide division of the DuCaine City police department. So he worked for five years until he learned that The Guardians of the Prophecy were very much alive, and were fighting in the war, on the side of the Antirans.

Soon, he left the DuCaine City PD, and made it his personal mission to destroy every member of the cult, and take down the Antirans for their association with the cult. Kaine spent the next three years training in all things militant and making the war his own personal battle. With next to no military aid, Kaine managed to kill forty-nine members of The Guardians of the Prophecy, he carried out thirty-three covert operations without one loss, and over time became an expert in espionage, tactics and mechanics.

Eventually, his actions caught the eye of Sector 8, and seeing it as a perfect chance to take out the Antirans and end the war, Kaine was more than happy to join.

Odds & Ends: Kaine has a MAJOR hate on for all things religious, and rarely if never shows any part of his body that is scarred.
